Surrounded by the vast countryside near the city of Saluzzo, not far from the majestic profile of Monviso, the abbey of Santa Maria di Staffarda represents one of the most important and fascinating medieval monasteries in Piedmont, with a complex of buildings and spaces which, since its foundation, in 1135, never cease to enchant monks, travellers and visitors. Today managed by Ordine Mauriziano of Turin, the structure has an austere and linear architecture, typical of the Gothic style. An exception to this is the majestic polyptych that adorns the church since 1531, painted by Pascale Oddone. For your wedding the church, the elegant cloister and the scenic guesthouse represent a magical and unique location.
