The Church of the Madonna della Neve is located on the top of a hill close to the ancient village of Gattinara, in an enchanting spot that offers an incredible view sweeping from the Monte Rosa chain to the nearby rice plain. The lovely church is located within an ancient medieval fortified complex, the most evident part of which is the massive 11th-century Torre delle Castelle.

All around, the hilly area is covered with ancient and prestigious vineyards producing the famous Gattinara wine, much appreciated in Italy and around the world. A perfect place to admire the sun setting behind the rows of vines and to experience the thrill of being a child again by trying to sit on the now iconic red Giant Bench.
