The Church of San Cristoforo is a gem that houses a number of precious works by the brilliant Gaudenzio Ferrari. The church, also known as the Sistine Chapel of Vercelli, is completely frescoed and houses some of the most important masterpieces of the Piedmontese Renaissance.

Entirely frescoed with extraordinarily evocative series of scenes depicting the Stories of the Virgin and the Stories of Mary Magdalene, as well as the well-known altarpiece known as “La Madonna degli Aranci” (Our Lady of the Oranges), San Cristoforo will make you rediscover a sense of wonder, thanks to the shaded and dreamy frescoes that seem to stretch, run along the pillars and flood every corner with colour and light.
