The Church of San Domenico was built by order of the Marquis of Monferrato Guglielmo VIII Paleologo between the second half of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century. It is located in a quiet square in the heart of the historical centre of Casale Monferrato, its beautiful façade with Gothic features is enriched by a fully Renaissance portal.

The bride and groom will be welcomed in San Domenico by the richness of the furnishings and altars, but also by the soft tones of the stones and paving, for a simpler atmosphere than in the Duomo, which can be brightened up by a less formal ceremony.
