Ozzano Monferrato is one of the most beautiful villages in the Monferrato Casalese area: the mediaeval historic centre is dominated by the castle and is surrounded by hills dotted with vineyards. The parish church of San Salvatore overlooks a churchyard, which is a true panoramic terrace offering a view of the surrounding landscape. Inside, it preserves an interesting fresco decoration from the 15th and 16th centuries, which lends liveliness to the wide naves.
