The Castello dei Paleologi (second half of the 15th century) used to be a historic residence of the Marquises of Monferrato and now houses the Archaeological Museum. A ‘birdgarden’ has been created around the castle, a well-kept garden that in fine weather looks almost like an oasis, full of flowers, within the high walls of the fortress.

The added value of this place is its panoramic position, which allows the eye to sweep over the entire town of Acqui Terme, with the red roofs and bell towers of the historic centre, as well as the surrounding hills.
