Located in the centre of the village, it is considered one of the most elegant country houses on Lake Orta. It is composed of three buildings, built in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, which form a harmonious whole of singular elegance and liveliness. The garden slopes slightly to the south, winding along an avenue with the villa’s loggia façade as a backdrop.

The villa is municipal property and can be visited during cultural events held in the village. For events, Villa Nigra can be used with the hire of a marquee and orangery by the organisers, and with the possibility of installing a stage in the outdoor courtyard.
